New Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS) Chief Election Commissioner N. Gopalaswami and election commissioners Navin Chawla and S.Y. Quereshi will visit Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday to review the poll preparations in the state, said officials Tuesday.
The Election Commission will review the situation in the state Wednesday with the representatives of the political parties and superintendents of police (SP) in Kashmir division, said EC officials here.
A similar meeting would also be held Thursday with political parties' representatives and SPs of Jammu division.
They will return to Delhi Friday, officials said.
The seven phased voting in Jammu and Kashmir begins Nov 17 and ends Dec 24. Counting of votes will take place Dec 28.
