Ghaziabad, Nov 6 (IANS) Four assailants shot and injured a trader here in Uttar Pradesh, the police said Thursday.
According to Circle Officer-II C.P. Singh, four car borne assailants Wednesday night shot at and injured Harish Chandra, who runs a confectionery shop at Govindpuram, in front of his shop.
The victim suffered four gunshot wounds and was taken to the Sarvodaya Hospital.
The hospital sources said that Chandra had three bullets in the abdomen and one bullet in the chest. He has been put on ventilator and his condition is stable, sources added.
Victim's brother, Chandrashu, has registered a case of attempt to murder and named D.P. Rana and Babloo as two of the assailants, the police said.
