Pune, Jan 13 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has appealed to the youth of the country to join politics to end corruption.ddressing the audience at a collage here on Thursday, the Dalai Lama said that it is necessary for the youth to come forward and join politics so as to end corruption from the country.
"So I say that the dirty politics must change. Who is going to change that? If we pray to God please come to India and clean this up, it is unrealistic. Young India, you should clean up all these negative things. No one else can. So if you must join in politics within political groups. Then clean up the change. That is the only way," he added.
Corruption in India has been a long standing problem and last year the stand against it grew as a result of the anti-corruption movement led by social activist Anna Hazare. (ANI)
