Google to launch tablet to compete with Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire?
With Goggle planning to launch its own-brand tablet, people are speculating whether this product will give competition to Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire. This issue came to the fore when Google's chairman Eric Schmidt announced to launch its Android Tablet in coming months. The Google chairman said that this tablet would be of highest quality. Experts in technology say that it will give competition to Apples iPad.
As per details given in Digitimes, the upcoming tablet would have a seven-inch panel, similar with Amazon's Kindle Fire. The cost of the gadget would be less than 200 dollars. The sources in Digitimes say that the tablet may be launched in March or April, a Telegraph reports says.
"Sources from Google's upstream supply chain believe that Google, instead of Apple, may actually be targeting Amazon's 7-inch Kindle Fire as its major competitor," says a Digitimes report.
"However, Google Taiwan commented that the company has never heard about the plan of launching an own-brand tablet PC," reports Digitimes.
"The sources believe that Google will launch the own-brand tablet PC in March-April, featuring a 7-inch panel and Android 4.0 with a price less than US$199 to compete against Amazon," the report of Digitimes Said.
