Lahore, Jan 6(ANI): Pakistan pace bowler Aizaz Cheema has said he intends to utilize his knowledge of the country's pitches in the United Arab Emirates to take on England in the forthcoming series.
He admitted that the UAE pitch conditions would be more advantageous to Pakistan, as compared to England.
"The pitches in the UAE are quite similar to the ones found in Pakistan and that's why it will benefit us more. All of us have the pressure to perform but since we are used to playing on these pitches, we can use them more to our advantage," The Express Tribune quoted Cheema, as saying.
Meanwhile, Umar Akmal, who has made a comeback in the Test squad after missing the series against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, is looking forward to putting up big scores to challenge the opposition
"The position I am batting on is not ideal for big scores but I've always batted here and the key is to improve the technique. I will try my best to make Pakistan come out on top on my comeback," Akanl said. (ANI)
