Lucknow, Jan 4 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), today raided the property of former Uttar Pradesh Minister of Family Welfare, Babu Singh Kushwaha, in connection with the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam.
Kushwaha, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) yesterday, had to, earlier, resign from the cabinet of Mayawati government in UP after being alleged of irregularities in supply of medicines and medical equipment under the NRHM.
The CBI has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Kushwaha and 50 others in regard with the scam.
CBI also conducted raids in Delhi, Kanpur and Moradabad in connection with the case. (ANI)
