London, Jan 03(ANI): Italian giants AC Milan are planning an audacious move for Manchester City's striking pair of Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli.
The cash strapped Italian club would require to sell their star striker Alexander Pato in order to arrange the 45 million pounds needed to make this double swoop.
French club Paris St Germain seems to be the firm favorites to sign the services of Pato as their new manager Carlo Ancelloti tried to sign him during his time at Chelsea.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic is also known to be Pato's admirer, the Sun reports.
Meanwhile Milan's Vice-President Adrian Galliani has claimed that no negotiations are in place with Paris St Germain over Pato.
But he also refused to rule out any possible sale of Pato.
Galiiani also said that the talks with City over Tevez were going on and insisted that even Tevez wanted to join them.
"The negotiations are very much alive. Manchester insist on a loan with an obligation to buy and we insist on a loan with the right to buy," said Galliani.
Reports in Italy have claimed that Tevez is also wanted by AC Milan's local rival, Inter Milan.(ANI)
