London, Jan 2 (ANI): Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton's family are back in touch over Christmas and are hoping that the couple reconcile and give their love another chance.
The X Factor USA judge remained in touch with Hamilton's family over Christmas.
A source claimed that the race ace's family loves Scherzinger dearly and "still very much see her as their 'daughter-in-law'".
"Nicole is so dear to the family. They still very much see her as their 'daughter-in-law'," the Daily Mail quoted the source as saying.
"Those close bonds don't disappear overnight.
"They've been in touch over Christmas to catch up - and wish each other well.
"They've built such a bond with her over the years. Everyone is secretly hoping that Lewis and Nicole will give their love another go when the time is right for them," the source added.
The 34-year-old is particularly close to Lewis' brother Nic - with whom she bonded while supporting Lewis all over the world - as well as father Anthony and stepmother Linda. (ANI)
