London, Jan 1 (ANI): Christine Bleakley has told her pals that she is eyeing up a role on US 'The X Factor' if her fiance Frank Lampard moves to America to play football.
The 32-year-old TV presenter also told them that she would be happy to move to the States after their summer wedding if the footballer Frank transfers to LA Galaxy, the Mirror reported.
The Chelsea star is believed to be seriously considering a move to the US football team alongside David Beckham, who is now expected to stay with the Los Angeles team for another year.
According to Bleakley's friends, Simon Cowell has expressed an interest in working with her and the timing could be perfect.
"She gets on very well with Simon and he's always maintained at some point they will work together. After Dancing On Ice is done and dusted by the spring, there's nothing keeping her in the UK if she wanted to move abroad," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
"The Americans love an Irish presenter and Christine has potential to work very well in the US, the source added.
It could all fall into place for her, with US 'The X Factor' host Steve Jones expected to be axed ahead of the second series of the show. (ani)
