Melbourne, Dec 30 (ANI): Australia has recalled Ryan Harris for second Test against India, indicating that the Aussies are considering a four-man pace attack the Sydney game.
Harris is the only new face from the 13-man squad named for the first Test in Melbourne, with Mitchell Starc and Daniel Christian omitted.
Harris's inclusion could see Nathan Lyon named 12th man, as Australia is expected to consider all options after an attack led by James Pattinson flattened the tourists on Thursday.
Harris would further trouble India, but he won't displace Pattinson, Ben Hilfenhaus or Peter Siddle unless injury intervenes, Fox Sports reports.
"It is great if Harris is fit. He puts pressure in our bowling attack. He is an extra string to our bow and has had a lot of success. He is a quality bowler," Clarke said of Harris.
Australia will look at conditions in Sydney before determining the make-up of the second Test side.
"The SCG of late has had some grass on it so that is something we need to talk about as a selection panel. If there is grass on it like last year there is a chance we could play four fast bowlers," he said.
