Washington, Dec 22 (ANI): Simon Pegg has revealed that he had fun hanging out with Tom Cruise when they filmed 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' together.
The 'Star Trek' actor revealed that Cruise created laughs on set by dressing up in equipment from his 1990 motion picture 'Days of Thunder', which sees him play a stock car driver, for the day out.
"It was such fun. It's nice to penetrate the noxious cloud of myth that surrounds him," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Big Issue magazine.
"Sometimes we're hanging out and it's just me and Tom at a hockey game. But sometimes he puts on his sunglasses and smiles and it's like, 'Oh my god, it's you'," he said.
The actor also revealed that Cruise had hired an entire go-carting centre for a day and Pegg suddenly realised that the triple Golden Globe-winning star has to go to such great lengths to be able to "relax" while out and about.
"We were hanging out eating burgers and chatting and it occurred to me this was the only way he could have that level of relaxation. Tom understands his place on the food chain. It's pretty high up," he added. (ANI)
