McLaren car ready for first test

London, Dec.21 (ANI):Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are aiming to hit the ground running in 2012 after McLaren confirmed their new car will be ready for the season's first test session.

The Woking team has struggled in recent seasons to produce a fast car from Day One.

And although their development pace has been peerless, and their cars always win races eventually, they have been forced to play catch-up to Red Bull.

McLaren has said they will launch their new MP4-27 on February 1 and Hamilton and Button will get to try it at Jerez. (ANI)
