London, Dec 15 (ANI): Singer Susan Boyle has revealed that she has finally conquered her "demons" to be happy at being so successful.
The 50-year-old, after struggling to cope with her sudden rise to fame, said that for the first time in her life she was confident about the years ahead.
"In truth I feel I now belong. It is this acceptance that has helped me lay my demons to rest. This is really the first time that I feel confident and blessed," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
Boyle had shot to fame, when she auditioned for 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2009.
However, she was unable to cope with the pressure of being in media spotlight and was admitted to the Priory Clinic in south London.
"It's taken a while to learn how to be happy and enjoy what I am doing.
"I was so scared it would all come to an abrupt ending that I stopped looking at the positives and enjoying the moments and focused too much on the negatives," she added. (ANI)
