London, Dec 6 (ANI): Sony has released a series of viral videos that showcase its new projection technology creating visuals that burst out of the sofa and walls.
The 'living videos' use technology normally reserved for hi-tech flight simulators used to train fighter pilots to create 'living worlds'.
Projectors targeted at the walls, sofa and floor make 'real' objects seem to appear around the room.
The adverts boast that the effects were achieved without any post-production or digital alteration, just using projectors and Sony's Eyetoy camera for PS3, the Daily Mail reports.
The makers say it was all shot using a Steadicam, and a Sony EyeToy camera, which allows a user to interact with a PS3 console.
The technology is extremely impressive - but requires a huge amount of very expensive hardware. (ANI)
