London, Dec 6 (ANI): World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has pulled out of his fight against French challenger Jean-Marc Mormeck after having surgery to remove a kidney stone.
Klitschko, 35, the conquerer of David Haye, felt abdominal pain at his training camp in Austria on Friday and needed two operations at a Dusseldorf hospital over the weekend.
The Sun quoted Klitschko's doctor as saying that he was recovering well.
The WBO, IBF and WBA champion's promoter, Bernd Boente, said the fight would now go ahead next March. (ANI)
