New Delhi, Dec 6 (ANI): Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will on Wednesday inaugurate the fourth International Tax Dialogue (ITD) Global Conference on tax and inequality, which will be held at the Vigyan Bhawan here.
Over 250 foreign delegates are expected to take part in the three-day conference that ends on December 9.
A number of prominent academics and representatives of regional and international organizations will also be present at this high-level conference, which will have senior level representation from over 100 countries.
The ITD conference will provide a unique and timely opportunity to address on important question facing each country, that is, to what extent taxation can be seen as part of the solution to growing inequalities in income and wealth.
