London, Dec 4(ANI): England batsman Eoin Morgan has said that he expects to be fit to play in the Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next year.
Morgan had earlier missed the 5-0 ODI series drubbing by India after undergoing shoulder surgery.
"The shoulder's feeling good. I have been back training at Middlesex for about three weeks, doing my rehab work," the Daily Star quoted Morgan, as saying.
"I'm hoping to be fully fit in about three or four weeks. That would allow me a cushion of around three weeks over Christmas to be ready for the Pakistan series," he added.
The 25-year-old is currently in India as part of an England training exercise to condition the players for upcoming matches in the region.
"I will be in India for nine days for a little batting camp stint, which I have been really looking forward to. I have been out of cricket for nearly three months now with my shoulder, so I have got the cricket bug back now," he said. (ANI)
