Adrian Sutil sweating on Formula One future

London, Sat, 03 Dec 2011 ANI

London, Dec.3 (ANI): German racer Adrian Sutil hopes his Formula One future will be settled within the next fortnight.

The future of the 28-year-old has been the subject of speculation after his current employers Force India stalled on naming their driver line-up for next season, The Mirror reports.

Sutil is in the frame to stay on at Force India, who he first joined in 2007 when Spyker owned the team, although he faces competition from 2011 teammate Paul Di Resta and test driver Nico Hulkenberg.

Moves to Williams and Lotus have also been touted, but just one seat remains at each of those outfits after the former confirmed Pastor Maldonado would stay on for a second year and the latter announced the signing of 2007 world champion Kimi Raikkonen.

Sutil did his reputation the power of good with a fine drive to sixth place at the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix last weekend, a result which followed a string of other impressive performances, and he admits he is relaxed about his prospects.

"To be honest, I delivered great performances at my last 10 races," Sutil told formula1.com.

He added: "For sure, these results make things easier for me and my manager to sort out the future." (ANI)
