London, Dec 2(ANI): The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has been handed a police file concerning allegations that Chelsea captain John Terry racially abused Queens Park Rangers (QPR) defender Anton Ferdinand.
According to the Sun, the CPS will now decide whether to charge Terry with racial harassment.
Ferdinand has alleged that Terry called him a "f****** black ****" during QPR's Premier League match with Chelsea at Loftus Road on October 23.
Terry, however, denies the claims.
The CPS is a non-ministerial department of the United Kingdom government responsible for public prosecutions of people charged with criminal offences in England and Wales. (ANI)
