London, Dec 1(ANI): England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is due to discover whether he has won the latest round of a 4.3 million pounds legal fight with a sports management firm.
Proactive Sports Management, which used to represent Rooney and his wife Coleen, says that Rooney owed them 20 percent commission for a number of multimillion-pound deals.
The 26-year-old disputes the claim.
He had also claimed victory after the first round of the legal battle in July 2010, when the Manchester Mercantile Court ruled that Rooney should pay 5,000 pounds, and his wife around 90,000 pounds.
Proactive Sports Management appealed, during a hearing at the Court of Appeal in London in July 2011, and asked three appeal judges to overturn the ruling.
On the other hand, Rooney argued that the Manchester Mercantile Court's ruling was correct and said the appeal should be dismissed. (ANI)
