London, Nov 30 (ANI): Joey Barton recently launched a scathing attack on the stars of reality TV show 'Desperate Scousewives', tagging them as 'Oompa Loompas'.
The footballer, who spent hours ranting about the cast as he watched the new reality TV show, also denied claims that he had slept with girls on the E4 series, despite dating star Amanda Harrington, 30.
The 29-year-old also branded the cast "Woolybacks", slang for folk like Welsh-born newcomer Joe McMahon, 28, who lives near but not in Liverpool, the Daily Star reported.
The 4.1million pounds -a-year midfielder took to the social networking site, Twitter, to vent his anger on the show, which made its debut on November 28.
"All the women/creatures look like the bride of frankenstein crossed with an umpalumpa. The men, aren't scouse lads, there crazy woolybacks."
Barton, whose girlfriend Georgia McNeill, 25, is Scouse, also accused the stars of being "absolute f***ing cretins."
"How did they come up with the title. Surely it should be rebranded, 'just f***ing desperate,'" he added. (ANI)
