Washington, Nov 28 (ANI): Pop-star Rihanna has made history by becoming the first artist in 39 years to top U.K's albums and singles charts twice in the same year with different releases.
The 23-year-old had previously scored a chart double in the U.K. in January, with 'Loud' becoming the country's biggest selling album and 'What's My Name', her track with rapper Drake, turning into the most popular single.
The R 'n' B star is the first female to achieve the feat, while British rock band T-Rex was the last act to do so in May 1972.
Boy band One Direction debuted Up All Night at second place in the chart while crooner Michael Buble fell from one to third position with Christmas. (ANI)
