London, Nov 27(ANI): Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he backs Great Britain team manager Stuart Pearce's idea that Welsh winger Ryan Giggs could be a part of the team for the 2012 London Olympics.
"Stuart made sense when he pointed out that a player like Ryan Giggs, who has missed out on the major tournaments with Wales, might welcome the opportunity to take part in the Olympics as one of the over-age players," the Daily Express quoted Ferguson, as saying.
"It might well appeal, and I suppose it is probably best left to individual choice," he added. (ANI)
