London, Nov 24 (ANI): John Terry plans to build a wildlife sanctuary in his garden and lure birds along to his 10-million-pound mansion.
The Chelsea skipper, 30, who allegedly bedded former team-mate Wayne Bridge's lover, has submitted plans for a wetland habitat in the grounds of his luxury pad.
Terry wants to build a lake and bird sanctuary after demolishing his mother-in-law's house.
The footballer's mother-in-law Sue Poole lived next door until the couple knocked her place down to make one new giant mansion on their land.
The Centre back wants to develop a "featureless" paddock to attract wildfowl such as ducks and swans to his estate in Oxshott, Surrey, the Daily Star reported.
He told Elmbridge Council that his plans would also help to cut the risk of flooding in the area.
His planning agent John Escott said that the proposal would create an attractive landscape in this rural location. (ANI)
