Sydney, Nov 16(ANI): Australian leg-spinner Stuart MacGill has been linked with the Sydney Sixers for the upcoming Twenty20 Big Bash League after a shock return to grade cricket last weekend.
However, the General Manager of the SCG-based franchise, Stuart Clark, said that discussions were at a very early stage.
"No one quite knows whether he can still play or not, it's been three years since he's played," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Clark, as saying.
"Do we really need a spinner? There's a whole heap of questions that need to sit down with the coach, which I will in the next couple of weeks, to discuss," he added.
The Sydney Sixers have already signed Dwayne Bravo, Shane Watson, Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Steve Smith, Michael Lumb and Pat Cummins. (ANI)
