Sydney, Nov 16(ANI): The Sydney Sixers have signed West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo for the upcoming Twenty20 Big Bash League.
The 17th signature for the SCG-based team, Bravo will join Shane Watson, Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Steve Smith, Michael Lumb and Pat Cummins.
"Dwayne Bravo is a great addition to our playing squad, a fantastic personality and an awesomely-talented cricketer who embodies the Sixers' personality," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Sydney Sixers General Manager Stuart Clark, as saying.
Bravo was equally as excited about the deal and looking forward to arriving in Sydney.
"To say I am excited to join in the fun with the Sydney Sixers this summer is an understatement," Bravo said.
"What could be better than playing cricket under lights with a party atmosphere at the SCG. It's going to be a blast," he added. (ANI)
