Paris, Nov 12 (ANI): Pakistan's Aisamul Haq Qureshi and his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna have entered the semifinals of the Paris Masters by beating second-seeded Michael Llodra of France and Serbia's Nenad Zimonzic in the super tie-break.
The 7th seeds, who made it to their first ATP Tour Finals this year, struggled in the first set against their higher rated opponents, with Llodra and Zimonjic living up to their status of being the favourites by pocketing the set 6-3 in 31 minutes, The News reports.
However, the Indo-Pak duo showed a lot of spirit to bounce back in the second set, which they won 6-4 in 38 minutes.
Qureshi and Bopanna, last year's US Open finalists, will now play third-seeded Maxi Mirnyi of Belarus and Bahamas' Daniel Nestor who beat Austria's Oliver Marach and Alexander Peya in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (7). (ANI)
