Lahore, Nov 12(ANI): Changes in the Pakistan Cricket Board's media team are imminent following the appointment of new chairman Chaudhary Zaka Ashraf.
Sources told the Daily Times that Ashraf is dissatisfied with the working of the current PCB media team.
The head of the team was appointed due to his 'political connections' during the tenure of former chairman Ijaz Butt.
"This team has not been able to project the image of the board in a positive manner in the national media. They have failed. Zaka Ashraf is annoyed," sources said.
"Zaka Ashraf is waiting for the conclusion of the Pakistan-Sri Lanka series. He might bring in a new head of the media department and appoint new persons on the key posts in the media department," they added.
PCB's media posts have been a key attraction for many contenders. (ANI)
