Cape Town, Nov 12(ANI): South African captain Graeme Smith has said that the schizophrenic nature of the first Test against Australia indicates that his team is yet to fully utilize their potential.
South Africa won the Test by eight wickets and now has a golden opportunity to earn the first home triumph over Australia since their return from isolation.
"We can improve a lot. We bowled a lot better in the second innings than the first, where we were neither here nor there in terms of our lengths. (Michael) Clarke played really well for Australia, but we also let him go a bit" Sport24 quoted Smith, as saying.
"Hopefully the graph now will only grow for us," he added.
The second and last Test begins at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on November 17. (ANI)
