New Delhi, Nov 9 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani, who is undertaking a nationwide 'Jana Chetna Yatra' said on Wednesday that the tour taken by him with an aim to make people aware on the various issues that plague the country has been successful.
"This tour has been very successful from the first day till date. I believe that the government has to answer the two three issues that have been raised during the tour like corruption, price hike and black money stashed in foreign banks," Advani told the media here.
He had earlier said that the BJP is determined to corner the government on the black money issue during the winter session of Parliament.
"I would want that on the first day of the session (Winter Session of Parliament), the government presents a White Paper on the issue of black money, in which they declare all the names which they have got from different countries," he said.
Asked on no resolution being found in government meeting for petrol price hike yesterday, Advani said: "That is their internal problem and they have to deal with it.
"In all these internal problems if there If there is a coalition, consultation is the most important part of it and you cant have a situation in which periodically yours allies keep on taking a position which makes the governments continuation uncertain," he added
With effect from Friday, petrol prices were hiked by Rs. 1.82 rupees, with the price of one litre of petrol in Delhi being Rs. 68.66. (ANI)
