New Delhi, Nov. 6 (ANI): President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh have greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Zuha, which is being celebrated tomorrow.
President Patil in her message said: "On the festive occasion of Idu'l Zuha, I express my warm greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens and to my Muslim brothers and sisters, in particular."
"May this unique festival strengthen the foundations of our national unity and harmony and inspire us to work for the well-being of human beings," she added.
Vice President Ansari in his message said that this occasion highlights the virtues of sacrifice and inspires mankind for inculcating the spirit of compassion and love towards the downtrodden.
"I convey my good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Zuha. This occasion highlights the virtues of sacrifice and inspires mankind for inculcating the spirit of compassion and love towards the downtrodden," said Vice President Ansari.
"May the spirit of this occasion bring harmony, peace and happiness in our lives," he added.
The Prime Minister in his message said that Id ul Azha celebrates the spirit of giving and sacrifice.
"It is an occasion to reaffirm our commitment to work for the welfare of those who are less privileged. May Id ul Zuha bring peace, prosperity and joy for everyone," Dr. Singh added. (ANI)
