Washington, Nov 5 (ANI): Kelly Osbourne has been targeted by gay rights activists for using the word "tranny" during a recent interview about her ex-fiance's affair with a transgender model.
The rock legend's daughter has got herself involved in a war of words on Twitter with the gay community who were offended by her use of the derogatory remark.
According to Glamour magazine, the pop singer-turned-reality TV star revealed about the humiliation she felt after learning that her former husband-to-be, male model Luke Worrall, had cheated on her with Elle Schneider, who is awaiting gender reassignment surgery.
Osbourne, 27, has landed herself in trouble with members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (Lgbt) community ever since, Contactmusic reported.
Although the former 'Dancing with the Stars' star has apologized for describing Schneider as a "tranny" and a "chick with a d**k", but insisted that her remarks have been "misinterpreted".
However, the angry Lgbt supporters continued to taunt the 'Papa Don't Preach' singer online. (ANI)
