Washington, Nov 5 (ANI): Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed that he wanted to put on more weight to play J. Edgar Hoover in the forthcoming Clint Eastwood movie but time didn't not allow it.
The 'Inception' star, who plays the founder of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the new film, admitted that as much as he wanted to put on the extra pounds, he had to rely on the costume department for the most part.
"I really wanted to take a break and do the whole real physical transformation. Of course, the film wouldn't allow it," Contactmusic quoted the actor as telling Access Hollywood.
"It was a massive amount of weight to put on in a very short amount of time. So thankfully, I had a lot of people to help me in that transformation and I think it turned out pretty well," he added. (ANI)
