New Delhi, NOv.4 (ANI): Recently elected Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, who is visiting New Delhi, said on Friday that his state is an "integral part of India and will remain so".
He also said that there is no question of China interfering in Arunchal Pradesh.
He was reacting to a recent controversy surrounding the politically incorrect map of India in a Chinese company's brochure that showed Arunachal Pradesh in China.
Speaking on the sidelines of a public reception at Arunachal Bhawan in New Delhi, Tuki said that India is already having bilateral border trade with Myanmar (Burma) and Bhutan and he would request the Government of India to open border trade with China.
Tuki said that his top priority as chief minister would be to bring peace and security to the people and build infrastructure in the state.
He said that the Centre is already pushing for massive development in Arunchal Pradesh and has given a special development package to the state.
He said that would explore the potential of the state in tourism, natural resources and other sectors. (ANI)
