Farhat, Veena 'key kingpins' in Pak spot fixing scandal: Photographer Dheeraj Dixit

Islamabad, Nov 4 (ANI): Cricket photographer Dheeraj Dixit has revealed that former Pakistan cricketer Imran Farhat, and Veena Malik, a former girlfriend of jailed Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Asif, were the kingpins in the ongoing spot fixing scandal.

Dixit alleged that Farhat, whose father-in-law is interim chief selector in Pakistan, was the current mastermind behind the fixing racket. He further alleged that there were few other Pakistani cricketers in the ring.

He named Veena as a key conspirator in the racket, adding that she was in the loop and acted as a broker between the parties. Dixt also said that Farhat's relative in London managed all the money transactions, The Nation reports.

Meanwhile, Veena has again slammed her former boyfriend Asif with whom she was rumoured to be secretly married, saying that he himself is responsible for his fate.

"Asif was involved in these types of activities (involved with bookies). I was the only person who would tell Asif not to take part in such activity," she added. (ANI)
