London, Oct 30(ANI): Manchester City are preparing to compromise on their asking price for striker Carlos Tevez if it facilitates a swift exit for the Argentina striker.
According to the Telegraph, the club were looking for a fee in excess of 40 million pounds in the summer, but they will take a pragmatic approach in January and would consider bids of 25 million pounds plus add-ons.
With Tevez's track record as a goalscorer, a 25 million pound fee would prove very tempting to buying clubs, despite the damage the affair has done to the Argentine's reputation.
The big problem will be finding a club capable of matching, or even approaching his wages, which are in excess of 200,000 pounds per week. (ANI)
