London, Oct 30(ANI): Italian football club based in Naples, Napoli, are looking at a move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez after being told by the club that they have no chance of signing Mario Balotelli.
Napoli were keen to sign Balotelli, but now realize there is no chance of prising him away from the Etihad Stadium.
However, with City manager Roberto Mancini eyeing three Napoli stars, the club are hoping that they can land Tevez in a swap deal, the Daily Star reports.
Mancini's top targets in Naples are Ezequiel Lavezzi, Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik.
The deal could be concluded in January.
Tevez is currently on a club suspension and is considering an appeal over his fine, which has already been reduced from four weeks to two. (ANI)
