Hazare's core team cannot include whole country, says Baba Ramdev

Noida, Oct 29(ANI): Reacting to a comment by Kumar Vishwas, a close aide of veteran anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare, to overhaul his core team, yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday said that the core team cannot include the millions of Indians supporting the struggle.

Interacting with mediapersons in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Baba Ramdev said any committee could have only five to fifteen members and not the whole country.

"The path of change is not easy and there is no need to panic. During our struggle, the government will plot against us and even the society will challenge us, but we should maintain our calm and continue with our work," he said.

Reacting to various allegations levelled against certain members of Hazare's core team, such as Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan, Baba Ramdev said social activists would face challenges from everyone.

"A committee cannot be formed including 1.21 billion persons across the country a committee generally constitutes 5-15 members. And whether the organisation is spiritual, social or political in nature, it will be questioned. Amidst criticism, the organisation must carry on with its aim," he added.

Baba Ramdev also declared that before the state assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, he would organise a mass movement against black money. (ANI)
