London, Oct 25 (ANI): A popular brand has come up with a first-of-its-kind coffee machine, which will use fingerprint recognition and give its user the perfect blend of coffee, based on his individual preference.
While using Philips Saeco Xelsis Digital ID, the user is supposed to press his finger on a small pad on the machine three times to enter his profile.
The fingerprint pad can store the coffee profiles of up to three users at a time, and give them their favourite coffee with the swipe of a digit, the Daily Mail reported.
Every time the user touches the pad, the machine will know his preference, including the strength and amount of milk and froth desired.
A panel on top of the appliance warms cups before the coffee is made.
And when it is, the machine's milk flask self-cleans, by pushing water through its pipes and into the drip tray.
All in all, up to six users can programme their fingerprints and preferences, along with their name.
The appliance also tells the users, when the beans need topping up.
The high-end machine can make variations on nine drinks, including espresso, macchiato, latte and cappuccino. (ANI)
