London, Oct 23 (ANI): Lewis Hamilton's father has said warned his rivals that they will face a new man next season after his nightmare year.
British ace Hamilton has been hit by a series of clashes with his F1 rivals and race stewards this season. And, off the track, he has finally split from his long-time girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
Hamilton's Dad, Anthony, last night insisted: "Lewis has turned a corner in everything he's done, his lifestyle and his love of motorsport."
"You've seen a young Lewis Hamilton. Now a new Lewis Hamilton is coming. He is a talented individual and most of us would not have been able to come back from what he has had to this year," The Sun quoted him, as saying.
Hamilton ended a run of five races without a podium with a stunning drive to finish second in Korea last Sunday. But even that could not put the smile back on his face as he faced questions about his private life.
And this week it was confirmed that the 2008 world champ and his Pussycat Doll girlfriend had parted after four years.
Hamilton senior, sacked as his son's manager last year, added: "Lewis has had a tough year.
"He's faced a lot of criticism and yet still he comes back fighting and can produce results that he did last week. In Korea he showed just how much of a champion he is, not just as a racing driver but as an individual," he added. (ANI)
