Washington, Oct 21(ANI): Rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed that she became paranoid of 'unlocked doors' after she witnessed her abusive father drag her mother from the seat of a car.
The 29 year-old rapper has always been open and honest about her tough childhood and her parents' strained relationship.
"My mother left him many different times and came back. He would beg, cry, stalk us... One time, he pulled my mother out of a car and dragged her for two blocks."
"After that I had a phobia about unlocked doors. Anywhere my mother and I were, I made sure the door was locked, because that was my only way to protect her", Contactmusic quoted Nicki as telling Cosmopolitan magazine. (ANI)
