New Delhi, Oct 4 (ANI): Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai met External Affairs Minister S. M. Krishna here on Tuesday.
President Karzai, who arrived in New Delhi on a two-day visit beginning on Tuesday, is expected to hold talks with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on a wide range of bilateral, regional and global issues later in the day.
This is President Karzai's second visit to India this year. President Karzai's visit to India and the Prime Minister's landmark visit to Kabul in May 2011, carries forward the high-level engagement between the two countries.
The visit provides an opportunity for both countries to consolidate their strategic partnership and discuss bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest.
President Karzai will also deliver the third R. K. Mishra Memorial Lecture organized by Observer Research Foundation on October 5. (ANI)
