Sydney, Oct 2(ANI): Australian fast bowler Trent Copeland admits that his encouraging Test debut in Sri Lanka could come undone if he is wayward on the hard and fast South African pitches.
The 25-year-old had taken six wickets at an average of 37.83 in three-Test match series in Sri Lanka.
"South Africa generally has good conditions for fast bowlers, but only if you're bowling well. It can be a bit of a graveyard if you're not on the spot. There's fast outfields and good, fast wickets, so you've got to be on your game," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Copeland, as saying.
"It's certainly not as easy as just turning up and sending some down. It's very different to where I've just been, Sri Lanka, but it's the same principle. I think what I did in Sri Lanka should stay my game plan. I don't think I should change things too much even though the conditions will be different," he added. (ANI)
