London, Sept 27 (ANI): It has been reported that 8 out of the 12 jury members in the Michael Jackson "manslaughter" trial are his fans.
The defendant, Dr. Conrad Murray who has been accused of giving a fatal dose of anaesthetic propofol to the late King of Pop, might face an uphill task defending his case with two-third of the jury members being Michael's fans.
In the 30-page questionnaire, which was handed out to the 400 potential candidates for the jury committee, it was asked whether they were the late pop legend's fan or the Jackson family, and eight out of the twelve chosen turned out to be his fans.
One Mexican-American woman loved the singer's music as a child while another admitted to like his album 'Thriller' in particular, the Sun reported.
The panel, aged from 32 to 57, is made up of six white jurors, five Hispanic and one African-American.
Inspite of this bizarre situation, defence lawyer Michael Flanagan insisted he was happy with the final 12. (ANI)
