London, Sept 24 (ANI): An Israeli-born artist has designed a pair of robotic shoes, which can lift an individual's height by up to seven inches, and is controlled by an iPhone app.
Artist Adi Marom, who stands just 5ft 1in tall, created the impressive shoes after struggling with being the smallest person in her class at school.
"I was thinking, what if human beings also had this ability to change their size on demand whenever they want to be stronger or taller," the Sun quoted Marom as telling a US website.
"I was seeing how different organisms have these different unique mechanisms that allow them to change their size on demand, like pufferfish that can grow to look more impressive and scary," he stated.
The prototype of the shoes features a folding platform that elevates the user.
It is made out of aluminium and requires a battery pack to be strapped to the wearer's back. (ANI)
