New Delhi, Sep 23 (ANI): The first 'Strategic Economic Dialogue' between India and China will take place in Beijing on September 26 and 27.
Planning Commission Deputy Chairman M.S. Ahluwalia will lead the Indian side, while National Development and Reform Commission Chairman Zhang Ping will lead the Chinese side.
The Indian delegation will include representatives of the Planning Commission, Ministries of Railways, Water Resources, External Affairs, Power and New and Renewable Energy and the Departments of Commerce, Information Technology and Industrial Policy and Promotion.
It will be recollected that the 'Strategic Economic Dialogue' was established during Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to India in December 2010.
Discussions during the first 'Strategic Economic Dialogue' will focus on Plan formulation and implementation in India and China, the global economic outlook, efficient use of water resources, energy efficiency and pricing and potential cooperation in the railways sector. (ANI)
