Karachi, Sep 22(ANI): Pakistan cricket captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that his team's spirit is high following the whitewash over Zimbabwe in all three formats of the sport.
Misbah also reckons that it would motivate the team to achieve good results in the series against Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates next month.
"In cricket it's all about confidence and that only comes by winning. We won each and every match convincingly and the most important aspect is that each and every player was given an equal chance," the Express Tribune quoted Misbah, as saying.
"As a player, you always look ahead when you are confident. I think during the Zimbabwe tour all the players were positive and this will help us in the UAE," he added.
Pakistan beat Zimbabwe in the one-off Test, clinched the ODI series 3-0 before winning the two Twenty20s to complete the whitewash. (ANI)
