London, Sept 22 (ANI): Paris Hilton can now put her cocaine-related legal woes behind her after she completed her court ordered community service by logging 228 hours.
Hilton, 30, had been arrested in Las Vegas in August 2010 after a small bag of white powder fell out of her purse in front of a police officer during a traffic stop, the Daily Star reported.
She was later charged with felony drug possession when the substance was confirmed as cocaine.
Hilton struck a deal with prosecutors last September and pleaded guilty to two misdemeanour charges of drug possession and obstructing an officer.
She was ordered to complete 200 hours of community service, pay 1,250 pounds in fines, and attend an "intensive" substance abuse programme.
According to TMZ.com, the socialite took her sentencing seriously and on September 20 she wowed a Sin City judge at a progress report hearing by submitting her volunteer log, which included an extra 28 hours of work. (ANI)
