Washington, Sept 20 (ANI): Brad Pitt has revealed that he is surprised he was chosen to play the lead role in baseball film 'Moneyball', despite his having very little knowledge of the game.
Pitt, 47, who plays the role of a former Major League player and Oakland Athletics manager Billy Bean in the film, stated he always chose wrestling and diving over baseball at high school.
"It's shameful how little I know about baseball. I'm amazed they let me do this movie," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Sports Illustrated magazine.
"Baseball and I didn't get along that well. I wrestled one year in high school. I dived one year. Everything but baseball," he added. (ANI)
