New Delhi, Sep 18(ANI): Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter, Shweta, today visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi to meet former Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh.
Singh is currently admitted at the hospital to receive treatment for his kidney-related infection.
A lower Delhi court had on Thursday granted interim bail to Singh in connection with the 2008 cash for votes scam till September 19, but has not given him permission to go abroad for treatment.
The court had also asked him to deposit his passport and give a personal bond of two lakh rupees.
Currently, there is a heavy security presence around Singh in the hospital, and only his wife is allowed to visit him.
Singh was arrested on September 6 in connection with the cash-for-vote scam. (ANI)
